Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Industrial Training Institute was Established in 1986 at Venur, a backward rural area, with a Historic background of Bhagavan Shree Bahubali’s monolithic Statue. The Institute is promoted by Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Educational Society[R], ujire, a much-admired non-profit Institution that runs over 40 recognized educational institutions in Karnataka State including Engineering and Medical colleges.

The Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Educational [SDME] Society, Ujire®, was established with the primary objective of making education both accessible and affordable to rural youth. Guided by its hallmark vision—”Adding Value into Education”—the Society today oversees 56 educational institutions across Karnataka, spanning from Kindergarten to Doctoral Studies. These institutions offer high-quality education across diverse disciplines, including General Education, Law, Technical, Medical, and Management Studies. Emphasizing both value-based learning and industry-relevant skill Component, the SDME Society ensures its students are well-equipped to meet the challenges of a dynamic world.

A state-of-the-art facility and a continuous effort to improve the standard in the training system with ultimate discipline complement our student’s and faculty’s academic endeavour ensuring that every student receives the best in technical education. I am incredibly proud of our students’ academic achievements and their success in various accomplishments.
SDM ITI Venur has established a strong association with Industries and as a result,5 companies have set up labs and about 12-15 MNCs are coming for campus recruitment every year and thus recorded almost 100% placement every year. The academic activities concentrate on helping the students to gain an excellent knowledge base and in the development of skills to implement them. We are constantly reviewing our setup to update and improve while making sure that students gain thinking skills, analytical frameworks, entrepreneurial skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
There is also an ample of scope in co-curricular and extracurricular activities at SDM ITI Venur wherein the students are encouraged to show their talents. SDM ITI ensures that the students prove themselves to be not only well qualified technicians but also very responsible and ideal citizens of our country.
