Venur, August 3: The inauguration ceremony of the 41st batch of Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Industrial Training Institute (SDM ITI), Venur was held with great enthusiasm on Monday at the institute’s auditorium.

The programme was inaugurated by Mrs. Shraddha Amit, Chief Executive Officer of Kshemavana, Bengaluru. Addressing the students, she said, “SDM ITI students are well known for their discipline, punctuality, and excellent work performance. Having earned a good reputation in various industries, students of this institution should continue to uphold these high standards and maintain their quality throughout their careers.”

The Chief Guest, Mr. Ramprasad Rai, Managing Director of Suraksha Career Academy, Bengaluru, emphasized the importance of technical skills in today’s competitive job market. He advised the students, “Technical skills are the key to success in the future workplace. During the initial years of your career, focus more on acquiring knowledge and developing your skills rather than worrying about salary. When you possess the right skills, better opportunities and higher salaries will naturally follow.”

Mr. Jinaraj Jain, Owner of Padmambha Groups, Venur, who was the Guest of Honour, encouraged students to become entrepreneurs. He said, “Students should not limit themselves to seeking jobs but should aspire to become entrepreneurs who create employment opportunities for others. The youth have a responsibility to contribute to society by generating jobs and promoting self-employment.”

Presiding over the function, Mr. Vishweshwara Prasad K.R., Principal of SDM ITI Venur, highlighted the institution’s commitment to excellence. He stated, “SDM ITI is renowned for its discipline, quality technical education, and outstanding campus placements. Students who develop discipline, technical competence, and a positive personality can achieve success in any industry across the country.”

The programme commenced with an invocation by Mr. Prasanna Kumar. Mr. Ratnakara Rao H. welcomed the dignitaries and presented the achievements of the institution. The event was compered by Mr. Padmaprasad Basti, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Sathish.
