a. History of the Institute

SRI DHARMASTHALA MANJUNATHESHWARA INDUSTRIAL TRAINING INSTITUTE was established in 1986 at Venur, a backward rural area with a historic background of Bhagavan Sri Bahubali’s monolithic Statue. |
The Institute is promoted by Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Educational Society[R], ujire, a much admired non- profit institution that runs over 50 recognized educational institutions in Karnataka State from K.G to P.G classes including Engineering and Medical colleges. |

A placement cell was formed in ITI level first time in Karnataka state to provide appointment facility for trainees on their door step.
